You know it’s going to be a good e-mail when it has the subject line “Blue skies and thunder thighs.”
Our latest reader-submitted photo rocks. It’s “a photograph of my bruised thunder thighs, framing the book,” courtesy of 1/2 of the band Aunty Panty. The bruises are from playing drums at rock shows across the Canadian prairies. Persistence came along for the tour, which makes us want to sew a tiny leather jacket for our anthology. (Seriously. Can’t you picture it?)
